About 30 minutes ago (8:30am) I finished my Ethics test and started up a weekend with little to do in terms of busyness, but also I don't have homework so I can literally just relax. Today, I just have a phone conference for a little while and then I will be playing DnD for the first time in a while. I probably will not survive at the rate that I'm going, but we'll see.
At the rate I'm going, I'd have to hope that most of the monsters are CR 1/4 or less, but 48 bats would be rather difficult to manage (maybe). Frankly fighting that many bats would be really awkward, even more awkward than this..
Nevertheless, it is only another 5 weeks until summer. I am hoping that I have a job so I don't have to apply for work at school, but we'll have to see. I mean, it would suck having to live at school for more than I want to just to work. Albeit, money is money, but I wouldn't get to have fun with my family as often as I'd like, and I probably couldn't make sandcastles..
Too much? I dunno. I have noticed that the definition of summer for men and women is way different most of the time. Even 9GAG knows that it's true..
No I'm hungry.. more than I was before. Oh well, you cannot always be happy or the world would be boring. You have to complain about things or you will go mad. Whether it is about bad weather, crappy food, or some jackass that photo-bombed your last picture.
Regardless of what I just said though, I am happy with life and I can't wait to kick back for a weekend with little to do.
Have a great weekend!

Liberation
For once, I had a day where I could mostly relax without having to worry about meetings or other shenanigans. I could just sit back and be a good student and study for yet another Ethics test tomorrow. The nice part that I am in a pretty good mood and I am not feeling the stress that I normally do. All I have to do is play some volleyball and study a wee bit more to be all set for tomorrow.
I am in a pretty good mood now after a pretty bad start to my day. I was freezing this morning, mostly because I forgot to put my sweatshirt on last night, I was really tired this morning and I didn't want to get up. Luckily, my second class was cut short by a meeting (and by short I mean it only took 10 minutes). I grabbed lunch with a fraternity brother and watched him play Ocarina of Time (poorly) while i did homework.
Yeah, it shouldn't take 30 minutes to get through Dodongo's Cavern, but I digress. I have found that an iPad is a really useful study tool if you have a handful of PDFs to rummage through. You can open them and have it right next to your notebook without a waste of paper that few professors care about now.
Nevertheless, I hope my mood stays the same for tomorrow too as I will be done by 9am in hopes to have a fun night with mexican food and rainbow margaritas.
Its a similar concept to the cup above, but in a more traditional cup.
Have a great day!

Designing for a Designer: A Subjective Story
Today I had a class where we were presenting work to a client and her "free-lance artist" (Graphic Designer). I went into that presentation with a strong confidence that what I was going to present would be exactly what they wanted.
The company we were designing for is a boot camp style workout company from the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area (not to be confused with the Milwaukee anywhere else area). Over the course of presentations, I figured out a few key things that gave me a better chance.
1) They wanted a design that targeted men as they were just starting a men's boot camp.
2) They wanted something that could be considered "co-branding" where men and women were targeted equally in some aspect.
3) Subjectively, I thought half of the designs looked really bad in out pre-presentation presentation.
In realizing this, I figured I stand a pretty good chance at getting my design chosen (possibly). So I get up and present these pictures (https://domainwebdesign.wordpress.com/portfolio/design-portfolio/). There is nothing wrong with self-promotion..
Regardless, they both seemed to like them both except for the non-lining nature of the poster (but that is an easy fix). By this point, I had about an 85% chance of getting my materials used, but now I'm not too sure on anything.
By one of the last presentations, the designer said, "Don't be surprised if you see your slogan on one of our posters".
By this moment, I realized that they seem to just be gathering ideas for their own usage with the distinct possibility that our designs may not be used at all. A few of us proposed app ideas and I will guarantee that they will be combined into one app with not credit given where credit is due.
As of now, my confidence still sits around 60% that they may pick my poster or trifold, but that seems optimistic only because there were a few pieces other than mine that I liked much more.
Today I came to a few realizations that will slightly change my view of graphic design.
1) Glossy paper makes a huge difference when printing a poster for a client.
2) Designing graphics for another graphic designer is like asking a person what their favorite color is, you are only happy if the colors are the same.
Nevertheless, I still see myself as the best Website Design major at Carroll University..
Have a great day!

Changes Left and Right
By now you probably know that I use YouTube a ton, and now I have seen some big changes happening. I logged on today and one of my subscriptions was doing a live stream on YouTube. No longer do you have to go to Justin.tv to get game live streams. All it takes is a single click and then you are good to go.
I remember back when YouTube was simply a place to put videos under 15 minutes long and no better quality than 360p. The big changes came with Big Buck Bunny, one of the first 1080p videos up on YouTube. It is a strange story, but still worth a watch.
The next big step after that was getting videos that were longer than 15 minutes, which now are the cornerstone of my subscriptions. Everyday I have videos that usually are from 20-30 minutes long. I really want to try and get myself a better place on YouTube, probably by recording games, but the start-up costs are a little steep for me.
If someone would like to donate a digital PVR or a FRAPS account login, I would greatly appreciate it.
Until then, I will keep making up posts, short or otherwise until I no longer can.
The other change that I saw recently is the icons for Weather.com have changed again. Personally, I don't care for them as they look really juvenile, but I guess the design team really liked them. Oh well, you can't win them all.

Facebook Flashback
A few years back before Facebook changed a bunch, many people would write out fun lists of events based on the songs in their iTunes. It was somewhat of a quiz, but it was all just simple amusing fun. So today I will be posting the questions that I got from a Yogscast video but using my iTunes. Instead of going with every next song, like suggested, I uesed every 35th song during shuffle. First is the Yogscast animation with their answers and my questions and answers will follow.
Question 1. If Someone Says "Is this OK?" you say
- Haven't Met You Yet
Question 2. How would you describe yourself?
- Unbroken
Question 3. What do you like in a girl?
- Want You Gone
Question 4. How do you feel today?
- Love Drunk
Question 5. What's your motto?
- Take It Easy
Question 6. What do your friends think of you?
- Self Esteem
Question 7. What do you think of your parents?
- Axis and Allies: USSR Theme
Question 8. What is 2 + 2?
- Mylo Xyloto
Question 9. What do you think of me?
- The Galaxy Reactor
Question 10. What do you think of your secret crush?
- Major Minus
Question 11. What is your life story?
- Wonderful Tonight
Question 12. What do you think when you see the person you have a crush on?
- Welcome to The Jungle
Question 13. What will you dance to at your wedding?
- Mine
Question 14. What is your biggest fear?
- Dr. Stephen
Question 15. What is your biggest secret?
- December, 1963
Question 16. What do you think of this quiz?
- Feels Like The First Time
I renumbered the quiz as the numbers did not go sequentially in the video, however, I think most of these fell together pretty well.

Plans Change
Today I thought I was going to make another frirandomfestivalian post, but I was on 9GAG and found a picture that made me think. The picture was titled "How The World Should Be Like" and it had this map on it.
Admittedly, I don't recognize some of places on this map, but I have decided on three places that I would want to live in. Regardless, it seems that some areas would be more dangerous to live in than others, but the places I would want to live in would be Hyrule, Solla Sollew, and Sodor.
I would want to live in Hyrule because the Legend of Zelda series is by far my favorite series of all time. The land does have some issues with evil overlords, but needless to say I can only imagine how beautiful the landscape would look.
I have to admit that I am still a child at heart and that is why I picked Solla Sollew. Solla Sollew is a place from the mind of Dr. Seuss and I really like Dr. Seuss books. The whimsical nature of his books have found a place in my heart and also the hidden themes in the books are brilliant.
Finally, I would want to live in Sodor because I still am a child at heart. Sodor is the island that the Thomas the Tank Engine stories are based in. Though it would be strange living somewhere where trains talk to you, I think it would be a childhood reminiscent place.
The nice part about living here is it is far enough away from the troubles of Middle Earth, but close enough that you could still visit there, Hogawarts/Hogsmede, and Wonderland very simply.
I am curious to hear where everyone else would live, so please leave a comment with where you would want to live.

Relaxation
The mind is a tricky tool. In certain situations, you can convince it that it is cool when it is hot or vice versa. The concept of mind over matter is somewhat difficult to manage, but I have found that I am minorly capable of doing it. In fact, it feels incredible warm in my room to the point of discomfort, but when I started listening to this and thinking that it is cooler out, everything got better.
My mind hears this and I think, 'finally the rain should break the midday heat'. I have been looking forward to this rain so much. I love being out in the rain when it is pretty cool out. It just has some therapeutic feel to it.
During the course of this post, I have been listening to this track and I feel substantially cooler and much more relaxed than before I started the post. It is pretty amazing that it only takes about 10 minutes of background noise to change so much in how you feel.

This Weather Sucks
So today is Pi Lambda Phi's founders day. 118 years ago the fraternity I joined got its start at Yale. To celebrate this, Pi Lam members from across the US are all dressed up in formal attire to celebrate this day. Unfortunately though, it is 80 degrees (F) outside which is not condusive to the black slacks look.
I am absolutely boiling right now and I cannot wait until tomorrow when I can wear shorts again. I don't care that tomorrow will bring thunderstorms and the next two days will be full of rain. I like the rain so this doesn't phase me at all, however I cannot wait until I can get a solid nights sleep without waking up feeling overheated and cranky.
In my mind, this is how the forecast feels, but instead of days, it is hours..
Nevertheless, I will probably survive, but I will not be a happy camper for a bit..
Have a great day!

Sometimes You Have Those Days
For one of the first days in a while, I actually have laundry room work to do. I'm not complaining, not at all, but I know I will probably never find another job like this ever again where I can sit around listening to music, making a blog post, and playing words with friends all at once. I cannot believe that more people do not try to take advantage of a work-study program. I know some people actually have more work to do, but when all is said and done, you still have a lot more time to study than you do working. There are plenty of days that I leave feeling like this:
Nevertheless, I am grateful that I have this opportunity. I can still do homework, which I potentially would not be doing if I wasn't at work. I am not saying I would not do my homework at all, but when I'm working, I am almost forced to do homework to keep myself busy. There is nothing worse that having to deal with looking at every bookmark on your toolbar because you need something to entertain you for 3 hours.
Normally, I do homework and catch up on youtube subscriptions during work, but days like today, I don't have much to do. Well, I don't have much I can do on my laptop. I should be making a brochure for my Photoshop class tomorrow, but I lack the technology to do that.
I'm still not complaining because it still beats a manual labor job. I worked for a painting company over one hot summer and it was rough. Nothing you did could get you out of the sun and you would always go home tired, hot, and messy. Nevertheless, I was thankful for that job because I got paid (eventually..) for it (despite the fact that I was paid wrong..).
Power to the manual laborer.
Have a Great Day!

Religious Content
So on Sunday I was back home and I went to church. The church that we went to is a mega-church that has 7 (?) campuses. I have mixed feelings about the church because it lacks liturgy like your usual church and the contemporary music is not always my favorite. Without fail though, this church has some of the best sermons I have ever heard. Albeit they are all feel good sermons (there are not many conviction or fire and brimstone style sermons), but sometimes the feel good sermons can inspire the most in you.
The church is doing a sermon series on prayer, which I feel pretty strong in, but the sermon on Sunday was a great one for people who feel that they are not good with prayer. It is only about 30 minutes long, but definitely worth a listen. You don't have to watch the video as the audio sustains itself.

Let Us Close The Week
Happy Friday everyone! I hope that everything has gone well this week. Around me, everyone has been so happy about the beautiful weather. It is hope that Spring is here, but in all reality it is still winter. This may seem surprising to people, perhaps almost as surprising as this.
Just as I did last week, I am going to try and make this a FriRandomFestivalian style post. For those who don't recognize what this kind of post is, it is a post that uses five random pictures to create almost a story that relates to my life in some way.
Yesterday night I played two games of volleyball, one for intramural and the other for Greek Week (all Greek organizations playing). I felt like I was raring to go for the intramural game, but I guess it was a lie. I played pretty badly after a really good first point. I had the desire, but my gameface didn't match that desire. It was kinda like this..
Needless to say, we lost but it still got me rallied up for Greek volleyball. When we actually started we started with a great score of 9-2 (we were leading) and within 2-3 serves the scorer changed and the score became 6-6. None of us really cared as we were just having fun, but it would have made a difference. We were down 10 points and I came up to serve. I served 7 straight points with only one serve coming back over the net before they called the game because it was timed. I felt awesome, but I really wish I could have kept serving to see if we could win. That rally felt like I was running for a touchdown.
We lost 23-26 but I still am proud of the job I did at the end.
Recently, I found the breakdown of the Legend of Zelda series and where they fall on the timeline. I've been doing this so much so that I hope to find a copy of Twilight Princess to play soon and then follow it up by Skyward Sword as it looks awesome. This awesomeness can only be seen in one other place. I am not sure where exactly, but someone has the nerdiest car that I am jealous of..
Normally, I wouldn't be jealous of an Acura, but I will make an exception here. My ideal car as on now is either a Chevy Volt as it is a sharp looking hybrid car or a Chevy Equinox because I think I could fit comfortably in one, which tends to be an issue.
This weekend marks a pretty big weekend as I've been dating my girlfriend for 23 months now. We're also taking a trip from school to Gurnee Mills for a day of shopping, movies, and Chicago pizza. WE'll probably drive down and have to deal with yahoos that don't know how to drive. The only time I won't attempt to pass a car going 10 under is if his licensee plate is like this.
I never thought myself much as a Balrog, but what can I say, I Shall Not Pass!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Diary of a College Student
Yesterday's post was too short and I apologize for that, but I'm finding more and more that time is precious. Over the last week or so I have found out that there is never enough time in a day and that I'm not the only one feeling that.
Starting a Fraternity is a hell of a lot of work and it is causing problems. While talking with my fraternity brothers about how life is going, everyone is having issues balancing school, fraternal life, and relationships. What it all comes down to is that we want to make everyone happy, get good grades, and make sure that Pi Lambda Phi stays on campus as long as possible.
I would like to think that I speak for my fraternity brothers that are in relationships when I say that we appreciate everything that our significant others do for us and we want to thank them for supporting us when we are down and being understanding when we are busy.
With everything new there is a time to find balance and it is not an easy thing. The challenge of this year has definitely been trying to find where that balance is and I'd like to think that I am close to actually finding it.
I guess the generic theme of this post is that even though I am busier than ever before, I am very grateful that I am surrounded by people who are dealing with the same busyness and that I have a girlfriend who understands that being busy is a tough thing to manage.
Have a great day!

It's Pi Day, Pi Day Gotta Get Down on Pi Day
I should be shot for making that the title, but nevertheless it is March 14th (3/14). Those who are not familiar with math, Pi is an irrational number that has no ending digit. It goes a little something like this:
I've got pi memorized out to 22 digits and I am still trying to learn more just by listening to this song. I really don't have much more to say so go out and get some delicious pie!
Have a great day!

I Caught A Break!
Days like today make it tough to go to class or work. It is a nice spring day that is not too hot and not too cold. I strongly considered sitting out on one of the picnic tables after class and making this post outside. Unfortunately the rain and thunderstorms yesterday have made everything all muddy and wet (strange thing about water.. It makes things wet). Hopefully today the sun dries up the ground and everything else as it is supposed to be 74 tomorrow.
My week is getting easier by the second and I love it. I have a final in my class tonight that I am gaining more confidence in as I read through the powerpoints. I don't have homework for my thursday class. A paper that is due for my Ethics class on Friday made it so he cancelled class which means I can sleep in. To top it all off I get to go to Gurnee Mills with my girlfriend on Saturday making this week really eventful.
If everything goes as planned I will have one of the best weeks I have had in a while. I hope that this trend continues because I would not be opposed to being as happy as I am now.
After saying that though, I wonder if I was having the winter depression that a lot of people get because of the crummy weather and the lack of sunshine and vitamin D. I have to assume that was a little bit of the case because not much else has changed.
Oh well, I don't have to worry about that now. My only concerns for the day are registering for classes for the fall and studying for my final tonight. Once they're both done I can relax a little and look forward to a nice weekend.

Musical Fish?
I am in a pretty good mood today! I woke up tired and not wanting to go to class, but I pushed through and it was worth it.. sort of. Class was OK with the only hindering factor being the 90% relative humidity in the classroom. I swear that there was almost enough instability in the room that a rainstorm could have started in moments. Nevertheless, I left class happy, which is a little ironic as we were talking about the Totalitarian view of happiness during class. Why was I happy, because I was. It is a little humid for my liking, but it is pretty cool out still, it was barely raining, and the air smelled like spring rain.
What made my day even better is a good Butter Pecan Latte from Second Cup. Right now I feel like nothing can tear me down and I love that feeling. Now the only thing standing in my way is a bout of work, which hopefully will be simple, and studying for a final.
Now by now, I've shared my day's story and I've only been awake for just over 3 hours now. If I wrote out my entire day like this I could have a pretty substantial post, but let us save that for another day. So, this musical fish is not quite what you'd think it is. It is not a singing fish like you'd see from Warner Brothers or McDonalds..
Rather, my sister noticed that her Betta fish would react differently to different music. The videos below play in order, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Basshunter, and Toby Keith.
And yes you did just watch a Betta fish swimming around for 7ish minutes.

Spring Break Ends On A FriRandomFestivalian Post
Technically today is my last official day of Spring Break and I have mixed feelings. I feel like I need another 3-4 days to get all caught up with homework and get some real relaxing time, but that won't happen. As usual, I got a ton of homework assigned over break that I haven't quite finished. The best part of it all is that I keep remembering what I still haven't done so now I have a list of stuff I should have been doing all week..
Now by no means am I going to fail by not doing these homework assignments, I just am putting priority on a final project and studying for a final in the same class. I'm doing all the homework I can so I don't fail. Besides the other things I remembered that I would do have either been completed or have been set aside as a lower priority. I just hope that assignment doesn't get me like this dog.
If you hadn't noticed, I'm trying to get back to my classic Friday post with a story involved with the pictures and so far it is going pretty well, but I have the strangest last 3 pictures that I have to use. The reason I have to use them is because I randomly clicked 5 of my picture bookmarks and set the goal to use them all. I have no clue how to incorporate them and I'm going to grow old trying to incorporate them. I don't want to be 21 and wrinkly. Maybe there's a "miracle product" that could help out?
Me Gusta indeed. Nevertheless, this still leaves me with 2 pictures..
I'll admit that last one was a little forced, but hey you can't win all the time. I mean Mario had to go to 8 castles in the first Super Mario Brothers Game to find the princess right?
We need more Lemon-Scented Cleaning product that I will not say because you never know when companies will want to sue over using a product in a bad way. Albeit, I can't imagine that I'd get sued for quoting Family Guy, but I'd rather not risk it.
Once again, it is Friday which is pretty nice for most of the world. It is almost so awesome that it's Friday that I could dance, but to what? Country..Nah, Rock..Nope, Hmm.. How about some dubstep? I doubt my ability, so maybe I won't dance. A fun fact about dubstep though, it and techno are the official music styles of chemists.
Hooray for bad plays on words!
Have a great weekend!

I'm Pretty Sure My Generation is Pretty Set
Recently I have been worrying for the future of the next generation because it seems a lot of them are being cornfed crap on TV. Kids are being brought up thinking that MTV is real life, that wearing skin tight pants is trendy, and that liking someone's status will help out the masses.
When you try to watch a TV show today you have to struggle to find a lesson that will teach something important. I don't care if you know when the best time to GTL (Gym, Tan, Laundry) is, but I really want to know that you know at least what state you're in and what the Capitol is.
Now recently, people have started to see the Invisible Children Organization's videos about the situation in Uganda where children and women are being treated as soldiers and slaves for the coup that took power. People all over facebook are up in arms about people overposting about Kony, the leader of the coup in Uganda. Kony 2012 is not the first documentary that the Invisible Children organization has made. The first one I had seen was about a boy named Tony who dealt first-hand with the coup. The story, while it is sad, is being dealt with and it seems people are posting what they haven't looked into much, as usual.
I'm just as liable for that, but I do try to get all my information relatively right before I make a stand on what I believe and why. Nevertheless, as a kid I knew more countries and such than most students do now. The reason is that I had to actually study a map to pass. I'm tired of the world looking at the US with such disdain because we do not know where countries are in the world. Over the course of 15 years of being a student, I have had world map tests in about 7 of those years. Not just one test, but many tests until you got it all correct. In that time, countries have ceased existing, countries have been created, and others have split, joined, or changed names. This video is a little dated, but most of these countries still exist today.
Finally, after bashing into the next generation a little, I will give them some credit. The next generation is a little more health conscious to an extend. While they seem to not be outside and that they have poorer imaginations because of it, they are a little more heath conscious it seems. I mean, my generation grew up watching shows that contained stuff like this:
Nevertheless, I still hope that the next generation will wise up a bit, or they're not going to like the future. Many times during the course of college, I have heard speakers say that this generation or students are some of the biggest proponents of change that they have ever seen. That overhead of 'generation of students' includes a generation from the lat 80s to the mid 90s. We are the change we want to see in the world.
I don't know if the materials that we experienced is enough to create this change, if the media we were exposed to was a better preparation for the world, or if people need to grow up. I don't know these things. What I do know though is that this generation needs to be educated better so we know what the problems are and where in the world the problems are and how to/if the problem is being resolved.
If you hadn't noticed, all these videos came from a show called Animaniacs, a show that combined the nonsense from cartoons (that are even seen today) with useful information presented in a fun way. I still remember a lot of the world countries song and I hadn't heard is for years. Maybe it is time that we stray from reality shows that focus on friend problems and get back to focusing on education, because in the long run, that matters most.
Have a great day!

Pokemon From Someone Who Never Watched The Shows
My roommate from last year had never seen or played Pokemon. He knew a couple of Pokemon from pop culture references, but a majority he had no clue.
We never got through the whole list, but I'll give you a sample of some of the really amusing ones. Some are a little insensitive, but that is what makes them amusing. The name formats will be as such:
real name - guessed name
Pidgey - Chickeny Pidgeotto - Chickenier Pidgeot - Chickeniest
Pikachu - Pikachu Raichu - Pikaswallow
Voltorb - Ball Electrode - Jaball
Lickitung - Downey
Koffing - Toxo Weezing - Asthmatic
Jynx - RuPaul
I hope to get the full list eventually, but I'm not holding my breath. Getting about a third took 2 hours. Damn television.
Have a Great Day!

A Long Time Ago In A Book That Should Exist
Like I said I would on Friday, I found the Dr. Seuss themed Star Wars pictures. I really like all of them, though the poetry on all but the Yoda one is a little off meter. What a fine place to start, but with Yoda.
I really thought that they was clever with that, but I wish the stanzas on the other two were a little better. I'm not saying they are awful, because they do tell the story and keep with the seussical nature in writing.
The only thing I am intrigued in is how they got to the bar by page 8, but it took until page 25 to have the Obi Wan scene. I guess there is the escape, the reveal of the hole in the Death Star, Alderan getting destroyed, and a little more. I would like to see how that fills 17 pages.
Anyway, the last 3 pictures are simply Jabba the Hutt, either Jawas or Sandpeople, and a TaunTaun of sorts. My favorite of these three is Jabba.
I really hope that TheMightyAdam (the creator) continues to make more of these as they are phenominal. To see his blog where he debuted the materials, you can go to by following this link. Art, son of Adam!

Realizations From My Sister's Status
I had no idea of what I was going to post today until I saw my sister's status which is another nail in the Mayan end of the world theory coffin. Her status was “There have been about 514 Leap Years since Caesar created it in 45BC. Without the extra day every 4 years, today would be July 28, 2013. Also, the Mayan calendar did not account for leap year…so technically the world should have ended 7 months ago.” -So there, now we all know the Mayans are wrong"
It is a brilliant status, but not her's originally. Nevertheless, I give her credit for posting it. I cannot wait until people stop talking about their apocalypse theories. There have been hundreds of failed end of the world theories, but they don't happen.
In a way this is what just happened to the people who believed the theory. I'm not saying they had a stroke, but I do question their intelligence a little.
Have a great day!

200th Post!
So I thought I was going to post this great post with no real theme, getting back to the time of random pictures and posts on Fridays, but I realized that today is Dr. Seuss's birthday so it would be fun to acknowledge it. By far, Dr. Seuss is my favorite author primarily for the artwork and the creativity that he made into his great books.
My favorite Dr. Seuss book is How The Grinch Stole Christmas, mostly because the Grinch is such a great character. I'm not saying that The Cat in the Hat is not a good character, but everyone has preferences. People use the styles of writing and art to recreate pop culture elements. For example, a Star Wars parody has been made, but that will be another day's post. What I can show you is a recreation of a couple books for superheroes.
These aren't the best work I've seen, but it is still pretty creative. By now, I imagine most people have seen commercials for the Lorax movie that came out today. I know that is not the first Lorax movie as there was a made for TV cartoon that follows the book more. I really want to see the Lorax because it has a good message and because it looks really funny. I wonder if they will keep the Onceler as the narrator or if they'll change that, but I found the Onceler's home from the book made from Legos, and it is really cool.
Now that I have finished geeking out over the Onceler's home, I can get to the final picture I have. In Kindergarten, we had real green eggs and ham (food colored eggs and ham) and that was one creative way to make them. I found recently a dessert-style way to make green eggs and ham. I will admit that the ham isn't quite what it it should look, but the eggs look spot on.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Fun Songs With A Video Game Theme
So I realized in the last few days that I start a lot of my posts with the word "So". I will be trying to stop how much I am doing that, but this is not an overly ambitious goal.
Today, I did say that I was going to post more media, and I am not going to disappoint. While I do have more content, I do not quite have much to say today. I've been up since 7am and I feel pretty tired. Unfortunately today turned into a busy day with only a few opportunities to nap.
Nevertheless, I'll survive knowing that I only have one more class before I can start enjoying Spring Break. By enjoy I mean two days off and then working on a final project, studying for a final, and writing an ethics paper.. Oh the joys of Spring Break...
So the fun songs are nowhere near child appropriate so please let that be known now.
The creator of the songs goes by the YouTube name Brental Floss. He has quite a collection of songs all created from video game music. My favorite songs of his have music from the Legend of Zelda and from the Nintendo Wii Mii Channel.
Have a great day!
