Wait... They're The Same Person?!?

Jury duty is over, its the 4ht of July weekend and I can finally get back to posting at a more consistent timeframe.  I can't remember actors and actresses worth crap.  I can pick out a few common names like Jim Carey, Steve Carell, and thats about it.  I'm terrible with names but that is probably why I am so dumbfounded that these people are the same.

We'll start out with more commonplace ones and work our way up to the crazy ones.

Uncle Phil (James Avery) from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air voiced Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Tim Curry voiced Nigel Thornberry from the Wild Thornberrys (Note: Still can't see Tim Curry right after seeing Rocky Horror Picture Show)
Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) voiced Zim from Invader Zim (Whats with him and aliens?)

Commissioner Gordon and Sirius Black are both played by Gary Oldman (This blew my  mind for some reason)
Finally for the craziest one that I found.  There are probably crazier but this is what I found.

Optimus Prime and Eeyore are voiced by the same person: Peter Cullen.
Tomorrow is Friday which means its NoOneThoughtUpAName Fridays!

Safety and Training

So my brother showed me a really funny video about safety that stars Patrick Warburton.  Its all about safety on a roller coasters.

Do you feel more enlightened?  How about a trip back into the past when people were nicer and more willing to help.  Albeit these people are kind of morons, its a good explanation of how to deal with them.  Oh and its from Nintendo so its automatically awesome!

How can you have a theme of safety without featuring Men Without Hats and their strange music video for their song "The Safety Dance"

Also, as seen in Family Guy.

Tomorrow, who knows what will be the theme?

People That Will Never Be Accepted For Jury Duty

Today as I sit in the Lake County Courthouse waiting for a chance at being a juror I figured that I would find people that would not get jury duty.

First is two gentlemen that have a very catch song called "Big Booty Bitches"

Now you are probably thinking, "wow that's racist! Why can't they serve on a jury?"  The reason is not racist at all but is explained in their lyrics. "Little bitches get out, we don't want no skinny bitches!"  This shows that they are already prejudiced against the skinny and those whom are "bitches".

Next is a boy and his brother at the bus stop.

Now you are probably thinking, "Now he's antisemitic! Why can't a Jew be on a jury?"  As it stands neither Kyle (Green Hat) nor Ike (the baby being kicked) can be a juror because they are too young.  If they were however old enough, Ike couldn't because he is Canadian and Kyle would probably not be selected because there is that chance that an attorney will ask if any of the jurors has ever kicked a baby.

Finally there is a man who plays piano music.

You may be rather confused why he can't serve.  As it is he cannot serve in the US because he is from London, England.  Also he is a Ginger..

See you tomorrow!

I'm carrying this blog on my back man!

Long day, but the randomness shall forge forward!  NFL labor talks continue but there is still some skepticism in my heart that there will be a full season of football this year.  I hope that there is a full season, but even if there isn't there's still the NCAA.  Beyond my mini rant however are some pretty amusing videos.

Many people have seen this video about a guy who was playing Madden as the Packers and he runs a final play with Greg Jennings.  In Madden this is a pretty good choice, but Greg Jennings had broken his leg earlier in the game...

That man carries the team on his back! In all honesty he is not as much of a champ as Marshawn Lynch from the Seattle Seahawks.  This guy can break tackles!

You may not be able to catch him but there is one that is far more untackleable.  That isn't event a word, but it is a wonderful word for Christian Okoye from the Kansas City Chiefs.  He cannot be stopped not even in Techmo Superbowl an NES game.

I understand that it is a little bit of a joke showing a video game as a highlight clip, but it still is less of a joke than playing in the NFC West.  Last year was a joke and a troll to society, and that is why I enjoy this comic.

Jury Duty tomorrow so we'll see if and when something comes tomorrow.

True Randomness

If you actually see this post on Friday then the scheduled post worked!

If not then this will be post 1 of 2 on Monday!

I may possibly be making Fridays devoted to a jumble of randomess, but I think it needs a name, if you can come up with one then comment on the post or like us on facebook and write on the wall.

Have you noticed people walking around with their hat brims straight up in the air, their justin beiber style haircut over their face,  and their un-manlike skinny jeans?  Consarndit they should dress normal!

Seriously though, what bothers me the most out of that is when people leave the stickers on their hat so it stays "legit" (Which is another thing that I really hate hearing people say.. the word it legitimate).  Anyway, I figured that there are a few people that just may be undereducated on sticker removal.

When did I become a codger?  Maybe its time for me to get a nice suit and go on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.  Then again that may be too difficult for me too..

You know what I don't have to worry about that now because I am still in college.  I recall learning about something in Calculus and Geometry called a mobius strip.  I have something that will blow your mind and will make you wonder how you never utilized this as your 1 page, single-sided, cheat sheet.

Have a great weekend all!

Graphs of Life

So many people have seen pie charts, line graphs, bar graphs, etc., but few people truly enjoy them.  These graphs may seem like a Statistics class gone wrong, but if you take a good look at it you may gain a new enjoyment of graphs.

I will be out of town tomorrow, but I will be trying the scheduled post so take a look for a post tomorrow!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Guile Theme Goes With Everything!

There is a character with a funky hairstyle in Street Fighter named Guile.  First seen in Street Fighter II (1991).  Its not everyday that you see a big, reverse-volcano flat-top hairstyle on a Major in the US Army.

His theme song can go with absolutely anything.  If you don't believe me take a look:

Still skeptical?

Really? You don't believe me?

Forwards and Backwards you have to be convinced.  No?  Then there is only one way to convince you...

Also, Guile looks like Lt. Surge from the Pokemon Series..

Three Songs That Have Been Stuck In My Head All Week

In the jumble of junk that is continuing in my mind there are 3 songs that have been on shuffle and repeat all week.  Only 2 of them are similar because they are from the same YouTube channel, but other than that they couldn't be further from each other.

First is a song called "Crabs" by youtube user mrweebl.  Its catchy and somewhat fun to annoy people with.  The song was generally started with the statement of "guess what I have?" After an answer on the lines of "what?" my reply would be:

Crabs are red, and do you know what else is red?  COMMUNISM!  But I assume that Russia wants to keep that out of their repertoire.  Nevertheless, this next song is also from mrweebl but it is very catchy as well.  It is called "Russian Dancing Men"

Finally I was shown a movie called "Repo: The Genetic Opera" over the weekend.  The only person I recognized from the movie was Paris Hilton as herself (in my opinion).  Her character is addicted to Zydrate (explained later) and is an egotistical heiress.  Honestly its not my favorite Opera/Musical but there are a few catchy songs.  One of which I am trying to memorize ever so slowly is called "Zydrate Anatomy".  Essentially Zydrate is a drug that is gotten from the dead that when injected into your anatomy takes away pain.

If you appreciate a good gory movie and don't mind operas or musicals then you may enjoy Repo: The Genetic Opera, which is currently on instant watch on Netflix.

Legend of Zelda

I hope that everyone had a great weekend.  I really have nothing to talk about today, but I found these videos randomly through youtube and they all fit together pretty well.

First off is a collection of characters made in the game Spore.  Essentially the premise of the game is that you start as a cell and try and fight through a survival of the fittest style game until you become a human that develops space vehicles.  The characters you can make are highly customizable and thats how these characters were made.

Next is a combination of Nyan Cat and the rather annoying fairy from Ocarina of Time Navi.

This is the first of a series of a Walkthrough for Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past done in the form of a Rock Opera. Its very cool!

The youtube channel for this has more episodes and other really good videos like this.

Babies With Expression

I got an email the other day full of pictures of babies with captions under them that made them funny, but I think changing the captions on a few of them could make them better!

I Just Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore!

I will slap you so hard!

I'm so lonely, I shouldn't have eaten Carl..

Thank You, Thank You Very Much

No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!
I admit its an off day,  but everyone has one once and a while.

Offended?

I feel that today is the time to offend people in some way.  The color blind are safe since I picked on them earlier, but everyone else is fair game.  My goal is to offend everyone in some way whether it be minor or major.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS SENSITIVE CONTENT IN THESE VIDEOS.  THEY SHOULD NOT BE VIEWED AROUND CHILDREN OR PARENTS THAT DON'T APPRECIATE SWEARING.

Lets start with a lovely children's book narrated by Samuel  L. Jackson (Update: The previous video was removed so here is the new one)

Now that you have been lulled into a false sense of not being offended, here comes the Chuck Norris style roundhouse with Jimmy Carr's Offensive Joke set.

I guess if you haven't been offended you'll have to look for your own stuff to offend for Jimmy Carr has about limited my comfort zone at this time.  But you know, people have always made orphans feel bad for not having parents.  Think of being an orphan this way though:

I Spent $13 For Infinite Legos and You Spent $30 for a Lego House

I am an addict.  Not to alcohol, drugs, sex, chocolate, television, gambling, tanning, work, or shopping, but to a simple game.  (I lost the game :P)  Rather I cannot get enough of Minecraft.  There is no element to the game that is bad, and anything that is broken gets fixed relatively quickly.  To say that I am an addict is rather extreme, but rather Minecraft is time consuming.  I can sit and play for hours because the ideas in my head just keep on rolling out.  If I want to build a giant house, I do it. If I want to build an elaborate building, I do it.

That is the joy of Minecraft, the world is an open book waiting for you to build into it.  Anytime you come up with an idea of something to build, you have the resources available to make it happen.  People have taken advantage of that and built large cities, complex dungeons, dense forests, and underwater cities.

This first video was done by the youtube users DanNewz, Kootra, and Gassy Mexican.  What is pretty neat is that they have become well known by millions for their Minecraft work.  I feel like I know a celebrity because I went to High School with Gassy Mexican and was decently good friends with him.

The next video is a great explanation of the possibilities of Minecraft.  Its also catchy.

This game is great because it makes the players think and it allows their creativity to flow uninhibited unlike many video games of today.

The game has also been the source of a new meme of the creeper.  The song "The Creep" by The Lonely Island has now been parodied quite well by the youtube channel Scream Team.  "Do The Creeper!"

There is so much out there for Minecraft and the game keeps changing.  Notch, the creator of Minecraft keeps adding new releases and updates at least once a month, but even between updates the game still doesn't get dull.

Om Nom Mon! Gotta Eat 'Em All!

So I saw a picture of a sushi tray that had a roll that looked like Snorlax and some hot dogs on rice that looked like Dugtrio and I thought that was really cool.  I have now found an additional 14 pokemon sushi trays.  I admit I don't know all of the pokemon, but i recognize most of them.

Add a comment if you remember a majority of the Poke Rap!  The real one not the stupid one with 2nd generation pokemon.

P(x)=1

So today's been unusually busy but I finally have a moment to sit down and be random.  Lets take a look through the archives of randomness and throw something together shall we?

Ever been so busy you just want to punch something in the face?  If you have be sure you punch a cat in the face so it'll be worth more!*

*P(x) Randomness does not condone the punching of any animal.

There are always funny signs that people occasionally find.  Frankly I believe they are all incomplete signs. Why is that door exploding while a guy is running down the stairs? Why are the people crossing the street while holding hands?  This sign has the full story and now you know what has happened and what you need to do in that situation.

I don't think I've offended anyone in a while, so I feel that it is time to be slightly offensive.  The Rubix Cube is one of the most time consuming things to do.  There are only 2 ways to make this toy less time consuming: 1) Learn the formula to figure it out. and 2)

Finally, what has been seen cannot be unseen!

Winning!

So I've failed this week for posting constantly, however, I am back and may post tomorrow to make up for it, but we'll see.  After messing up my internal clock yesterday by sleeping at weird times, I come back home, do a little storm cleanup and then sit down to see whats on TV.  Sure enough FX was running a marathon of Two and a Half Men so I started to watch it.  After watching 2 episodes I started making random DnD characters as I occasionally do.

Now you may be wondering how any of this is relevant.  In fact to you personally this story is completely irrelevant, however the story that was just engrained into your mind-brain does cause the bout of randomness that is this first video.

I rolled to see which direction I would go from here, dnd (again) or Charlie Sheen, and wouldn't you know it Charlie Sheen ends up winning again.  The famous and overly quoted speech has been autotuned many times but this one is my favorite one so far.

If you think you haven't won yet, you are probably right because the world is out of winning for a lifetime.  You don't believe me? You think that you can beat Charlie Sheen at something other than life expectancy?  Well, Charlie Sheen is going to go Bobby Flay on you and challenge you to a cook off, see if you even want to accept the challenge, or if you will spend the rest of your day Losing!

You've given up already haven't you.. Well when worse comes you worse, you can always go back to your Wii and play Cooking Mama, she'll only tell you that you suck if you do.

Home Row Randomness

Recently I have found a cartoon short series called ASDFmovie.  They are all second long videos but all come with memorable lines.  Due to my bout of laziness today, I present for your entertainment the ASDFmovie trilogy.

I like trains!

Daioh means "The Great"

So I finally feel like I have some freedom this week.  Graduations are over and I have nothing planned til later in the month.  The time consuming part of work is done and now I can get back to the blog.

Recently I have started watching an anime called Azumanga Diaoh.  It is very much like this site in teh fact that a lot of what they show is utterly random but hysterical.  The first video was made for Sakura-Con 2010.  It is an AMV and it is rather funny.

While looking for more videos about Azumanga I found the cliche of all AMVs.  It wouldn't be right if there wasn't a "Bohemian Rhapsody" video for any show AMV.

Finally is an AMV Hell video of clips from the Azumanga show.  Very amusing.  It is the 4th but I didn't try hard enough to find the first 3.

That is all for today, who knows what will happen tomorrow..

Sing.. Sing a Song!

There is so much music in the world and there are so many songs that go unheard.  I feel the need to at least show a few of my favorite songs.

First is a song that was done by a guy who recorded himself singing the 4 parts of song.  He composed all the lyrics himself and used the best of John Williams' songs.   The entire song is Star Wars themed as well if the fact that it was all John Williams music wasn't enough. The song is called "John Williams is the Man"

Next is a song by the youtube artist DeStorm.  He has grown in popularity very quickly for his singing and this video is one of my favorites that he does.  DeStorm does a cover of "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith.

Next is another acapella group called the Voca People that sing a bunch of songs from a wide timespan and a wide variety of genres with a little bit of acting and pantomime.

Finally is an acapella version of Habanera from the opera Carmen.  This song is one of the most recognized songs from the opera.

I hope that everyone has a great weekend! See you all on Monday!

I can has invention?

I'm doing pretty well at trying to make a post happen everyday.  Today I feel that looking at really cool inventions that I want would be a pretty cool thing.

First, have you ever used an ice cube tray?  If not, you need to get one and use one because its a useful thing.  If you have you know that often it can be difficult trying to get only a few ice cubes out of the tray.  Finally you don't have to worry. With the push of a button you can pop out a few ice cubes without the chance of ice cubes ending up on the floor.

Are you tired of using measuring cups and having to strain over to see if there is enough water, oil, etc in the cup?  If you are then look no farther than this clever invention that has a digital readout of how much liquid is inside the measuring cup!

Finally the invention for the man cave!  You're watching the big game of the day and you quick run to get a bottle of your favorite drink*.  As you return to your seat you realize that you never took the cap off the bottle and that it is not a screw top.  Never fear, just grab your remote control and pop that top off with the remote/bottle opener!

*This site does not condone the drinking of alcoholic beverages unless done so legally.
